Each month during the regularly scheduled meeting, the Cumberland School Board recognizes the Students of the Month for each school. The following students were recognized by School Board members on Thursday, December 5, 2024:
• Hannah Stanley, first grader at Cumberland Elementary School, daughter of Roger and Rachel Stanley of Farmville.
• Karson Mawyer, fifth grader at Cumberland Middle School, daughter Jason and Erika Mawyer of Farmville.
• Dallana Santiago-Cortes, twelfth grader at Cumberland High School, daughter of Jorge and Yecssy Santiago of Cartersville.
