CUCPS Celebrates National School Bus Safety Week with Appreciation Breakfast Featured

     Cumberland County Public Schools (CUCPS) celebrated National School Bus Safety Week on October 16-20, 2017. This event is held annually during the third full week of October and provides an opportunity for parents, students, teachers, motorists, school bus operators, school administrators, and other interested parties to join forces and address the importance of school bus safety. This year’s theme is “STOP ON RED!”

     As part of National School Bus Safety Week, CUCPS held School Transportation Employee Appreciation Day on Wednesday, October 18, 2017. Members of the Transportation Department were treated to a continental breakfast, featuring donuts, muffins, pastries, and an assortment of beverages.


Members of the transportation staff enjoy food and conversation in honor of National School Bus Safety Week.
